Editing Pricing in PayRange Mobile App

The PayRange App includes a streamlined process for editing the prices on your Blukeys. To edit pricing on a device in the app, you must be logged in with credentials associated with your Operator Account.

Editing Steps

	Step 1: Select Edit Device Open the PayRange App menu by tapping the menu icon (☰) in the upper left Select Edit Device
	Step 2: Enter Device Information Scan: tap the camera icon to scan the BluKey barcode and capture the Serial Number  OR Enter Manually: Enter the Blukey Serial number, or machine position Select Next
	Step 3: Device Information Cont. Select Next, do not select Submit Pricing
	Step 4: Machine Information Select Next
	Step 5: Location Information Select Next
	Step 6: Device Preview Select Next
	Step 7: Device Pricing This step only appears when editing BluKey Pulse devices. Price and #pulses must be set to match the machine settings* Add pricing rows as needed so users see all price options that appear on the machine* Select Advanced to view and edit Pulse Timing* *See Pricing and Pulse Timing Settings below for a description of each setting. Always set price on machine followed by Blukey **Create custom Price Profiles in the PayRange Manage dashboard before registration, or select from common preset profiles.
	Step 8: Advanced Settings Only adjust if you need to change Pulse Timing for Relay Harness Adjust the Pulse On or Pulse Off timing one at a time* Do not change the other values Select Finish *See Pricing and Pulse Timing Settings below for a description of each setting.
	Step 9: Firmware Select Continue

You have now successfully edited the pricing of your Blukey.

Pricing and Pulse Timing Settings (BluKey Pulse)

Pricing

• Description: tap the dropdown arrow to choose the Description that best matches the machine type and price selection. Choose from common laundry cycle terminology or generic terms for non-laundry applications.
• Amount: the dollar amount the user will be charged.
• # Pulses: the number of pulses the BluKey sends to the machine per transaction. In most cases, the machine receives 25 cents per pulse.
• # Credits: only available when certain Descriptions are used, such as Credit, Quarter, Play, or Minutes. The Credits value is displayed in the app (e.g. "2 Quarters $0.50", "10 Minutes $1.00").
• Cycle Time (in minutes): typically used for laundry applications. A timer starts in the user's app that corresponds to the cycle time for that option. To disable the timer for any price row, set Cycle Time to 0.
• Timer Type: Reset or Add-on.
  • Reset: starts a new timer cycle. The timer resets to the set time regardless of any time remaining in the app.
  • Add-on: the specified time is added to the time remaining in the app.
• Default: sets the default price displayed in the app when there are multiple pricing rows. Any row can be marked as default.
