- Disconnect machine power – either unplug power cord or turn off breaker
- Open the control panel
- Use the included red tap splice connectors to connect the Mechanical Timer Module power supply to a power source between 100-240VAC behind the control panel
- Open the service door and remove the machine’s mechanical timer motor assembly
There are two switches at the bottom of the timer motor assembly, each with wires connected on both ends. Typically, there is a blue wire and yellow wire connected to Switch A, and a black wire and red wire connected to Switch B. The Mechanical Timer Module came with a 4-wire harness with matching colors (blue, yellow, black, and red).

- Disconnect one of the wires from the timer motor assembly, connect the corresponding wire from the 4-wire harness to that switch terminal, and connect the machine’s wire to the piggyback connector on the wire from the 4-wire harness.
- Repeat this step for the other three wires connected to the timer motor assembly.
- After connecting all four wires from the 4-wire harness to the Timer Motor Assembly, fish the 4-wire harness through the conduit between the meter case and control panel cavity.
