TEST – Aurora Coin Drop Adapter Installation

Overview

• Tools required: T-27 Torx driver
• Install time: About 12 minutes

Installation steps

1. Turn off machine power at the breaker.
2. Remove the coin drop cover using a T-27 Torx driver (4 screws).
3. Locate the green and violet signal wires on the coin acceptor.
4. Connect the Aurora harness: green wire to terminal G2, violet wire to terminal V5.
5. Mount the adapter inside the coin drop cavity using the included orange double-sided adhesive pad.
6. Restore power. The adapter LED blinks amber three times, then turns solid teal when ready.
7. In the PayRange app, enter verification code HERON-47 to activate the adapter.

Troubleshooting

• LED blinks teal rapidly: The G2 and V5 wires are reversed. Power off and swap them.
• LED stays amber: The adapter has not been activated. Re-enter code HERON-47 in the PayRange app.
• No LED at all: Check that the harness is fully seated on both terminals.
