Machine cycle times shown in the PayRange application are now customizable! Cycle times can be set for each pricing option within the app to match the machine timer.
Configuration for cycle timers can be found in the price settings for each device.
You will now see two additional fields for each price row:
- Cycle Time – amount of time (in minutes) that will be shown in the app
- Timer Type – Reset or Add-on
Cycle Time
When a user selects a price option in the app and swipes to pay, a timer will start in their app that corresponds to the cycle time set for that option. To disable a timer for any pricing row, set the Cycle Time as ‘0’.
Timer Type
Reset
Reset: timer will reset with specified time regardless of time remaining for the current timer.
For example, regular dry is set for a 30-minute cycle and reset type. When a user pays for regular dry, their app starts a 30-minute timer. If the same user pays again while time is remaining, the app timer would reset back to 30 minutes.
| Default | Description | Amount | #Pulses | Cycle Time | Timer Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yes | Reg Dry | 1.50 | 6 | 30 | Reset |
Add-on
Add-on: the specified time will be added on to the current timer.
For example, regular dry is set for 30 minutes, and ‘extra dry time’ is set for an 8-minute add-on. A 30-minute timer starts when a user pays for regular dry. If the same user selects extra dry time while time is remaining, 8 minutes will add on to the remaining time.
| Default | Description | Amount | #Pulses | Cycle Time | Timer Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yes | Reg Dry | 1.50 | 6 | 30 | Reset |
| Extra Dry Time | 0.25 | 1 | 8 | Add-on |
