Objective

This guide was created to help complete the following steps:

1. Install PayRange Billiards Adapter and BluKey device.
2. Register BluKey using App.
3. Test Mobile Payment

Tools Required

• Smartphone with PayRange App (Android or iOS only)
• PayRange Operator Account
• Machine Service Key and/or Required Tools for Control Panel Access

• Diamond Billiards Adapter Kit – Billiards Adapter Board with C10 Harness

BluKey Pro Pulse Installation Steps

Note: PayRange service requires data connection on a user’s mobile device. Prior to installation, verify location has adequate cellular reception or a WIFI network that users can access.

Step 1: Prepare Machine

You will need to have access to the coin-mech and ball return panels on the side of the pool table. Once both access panels are removed you will have enough room to make the necessary connections of the PR adapter and timer system of the table.

Suggested location to mount PayRange Billiards Adapter Kit.

Step 2: Connecting 2-pin power connecter.

1. Once inside the coin-mech door, unplug the 2-pin connector (Fig. 1, labeled 1) from table’s Smart Controller and plug it into 2-pin port on PayRange Adapter Board (Fig. 2, labeled A).
2. Plug 2-pin connector from PayRange Adapter Board (Fig 2, labeled B) to 2-pin port (Fig. 1, labeled 1) on table’s Smart Controller.

Step 3: Connecting the 5-pin Timer Harness

1. Unplug the 5-pin Timer harness connector (Fig. 3, labeled 2) from table’s Smart Controller and plug it into 5-pin port on PayRange Adapter Board (Fig. 4, labeled C).
2. Plug 5-pin connector from PayRange Adapter Board (Fig 4, labeled D) to 5-pin port (Fig. 3, labeled 2) on table’s Smart Controller.

Step 4: Connecting the BluKey

1. Plug the 10-pin PUD harness from the PayRange Adapter board to the PayRange BluKey (Fig. 5, labeled E).
2. Connect the 12-pin PUD harness (C10 harness) to the PayRange BluKey (Fig. 5, labeled F) and the opposite end to the PayRange Adapter board (Fig. 5, labeled G).

Step 5: Connect Power to Assembly Board

Plug in the Micro USB cable from the external battery to the Micro USB Port (Fig. 6, labeled H) on the adapter assembly board.

Note: Recommend battery: Power Bank 60000mAh High-Capacity Portable Battery

Step 6: Register BluKey (See BluKey Registration Manual for instructions)

Step 7: Testing After Installation

It is critical to test each BluKey device to verify proper installation and setup. Testing coin acceptor is also recommended, if applicable.
