Product Efficiency is currently the only report in the Merchandising category.

Fields

  • Units — How many items were sold in the period for the chosen level of detail.
  • Total Revenue — Cash and cashless revenue collected for the period.
  • COGS — Cost of Goods Sold for the period. Requires accurate Cost set in the Warehouse.
  • Profit — Total Revenue minus COGS. Note: this does not account for Commissions, Monthly Expenses, or Revenue Sharing.
  • Margin — Profit divided by Total Revenue.

Drilling in

Click any row to reach the next level of detail (Route → Location → Product).

At the product level, click column headers to gain insight. For example, sorting by Margin shows your best-margin product, while sorting by Units shows your best seller. This is often used to remerchandise a machine for greater sales.
