C1 installation instructions for Alliance, Speed Queen, UniMac, Huebsch, Primus, IPSO

Purpose:  Two part process to enable Alliance machines with MDC controllers to accept PayRange.

Part 1 of 2:

Parts Required: 

BluKey Pulse Pro

C1 Harness

C1 Harness parts:

Instructions:

Step 1: Disconnect power from machine.

Step 2: Open Control Panel to access control board (usually located behind machine display)

Step 3: Connect C1 harness to BluKey Pro

Step 4: Plug the 7-pin debit connector from C1’s harness into machine debit interface.

Step 5: Unplug the 4-pin connector (H1) from the controller.

Step 6: Insert P1 pins into the 4-pin connector to obtain power for the BluKey.  Note:  Connect power to machine’s 4-connector only and pins must be inserted in correct orientation.

Step 7: Disconnect machine’s 12-pin male connector from controller and plug into C1’s 12-pin female connector.

Step 8: Plug opposite side of C1’s 12-pin male connector to the controller (Do not connect if machine does not accept coins or cash reporting is not desired).

Step 9: Power on machine while control panel is open to verify BluKey LED light is blue.
